I have just finished my undergraduate degree and I am in such a serene mood only this music can musically mirror my emotions.

I am possibly the worst blogger on the interwebs...But it's okay to be terrible when you have no followers!!!! YAY! Enough with the 'yays' for now, my life has been filled with crappy homework and a heavy load of reading. While I read I can't listen to songs with words in them or else I get distracted singing along-rather easily even to songs I truly distaste. SO! here's what I've been tuning into for hours on end during the day of mundane, endless, mind-numbing readings of history books. Although, I must say that every time a really famous song, such as this, comes on I am nevertheless distracted with quizzing my memory as to which movies the song has been in. Sais la vie!

Dun...Dun...Duh...!

It's not that I hate this Holiday it's just that I am not fond of dumping money into cards and gifts that will be forgotten and disregarded after a certain amount of time. I love my husband and have everyday, I'd say that we celebrated our love last month when we went to dinner with some Christmas visa gift card. Can't afford such silly holidays such as this to splurge money on. All I can say is wrapped up in Jacques Brel's beautiful classic... Happy Valentine's day

time to go outside my comfort zone

I need to listen to new music, all of the local radio stations are so, well, the same. Haven't been feeling like myself lately and all the music that surrounds me isn't helping. So i was thinking of going a bit techno or electric? I don't know, it's just a thought, not sure if i can handle a lot of this music or not.


Hahahahaha didn't quite go all the way techno or electric, but i found this song about Daft Punk (who is techno, so i think that counts). I like this song now even though i just found it :)

A very neglected/unread blog.

Meh. I read it and that is good enough, I'd say. Since this is my blog and all i need to care about is what i say then i think it's quite all right. I have been so wrapped up in another blog lately i can't help but not be here posting music and livening up the place. The blog i have been on has indeed been the most entertaining read since i finished up everything David Sedaris has written.This is where i have been wasting my time<-------you should go to there and make her more famous and let her wittiness and cleverness consume your life, you will be better for it.

Alright, now for the morning song. I think today's song inspiration comes from the comment made by a friend yesterday, "don't take this the wrong way, but you are always available so i invite you places." Great so now someone is friends with me because i am convenient to be friends with. Whipidy-fucking-doo! Here is a song where 2 people are friends only cause they walk to school everyday-so they are forced into the friend spiral which will only fail once they reach adolescence and realize that they no longer need the other's convenience.

pirate days

I woke up this morning wanting to be a pirate, but a nice one-not one that pillages and rapes. Instead, one that just sails and looks like a pirate and dresses like one and of course talks like one, so this is the song i played when i first woke up. I am not even sure if anything else needs to be said with this video. I mean it's Tom Waits! No introduction necessary, he is God among men, dwarf among midgets, tom waits among all other musicians!
Other than waking up wanting to be a pirate that is all this song is soundtracking for today. It is overcast, but no rain so that means another pleasantly windy bike ride, i think i shall bundle up for this one thought, it seems to be a bit cold outside. maybe i will listen to some fast pace funness-which mostly excludes Mr. Waits only because i find i pedal faster when i listen to faster music!
